John Rice
President

John graduated from Yale in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. John has been in charge of sales at Rice Fruit Company since the fall of 1974. John was selected as the "Apple Man of the Year" by The Packer newspaper and as "Apple Grower of the Year" by American Fruit Grower magazine. He is the only person to win both national awards. He was the first chairman of the U.S. Apple Export Council, and he is the only person to serve two terms as the chairman of the board of the U.S. Apple Association.

David Rice
Vice President, Operations

David returned to the family business in 1973 after graduating from Princeton with a degree in economics. He manages all plant operations.

Ted Rice
Treasurer

Ted was the first to return to the family business in 1971. He graduated from Middlebury College where he studied philosophy. Ted became the treasurer and office manager, where he maintains all of the finances and technical support of the company.

Brenda Briggs
Vice President, Marketing

Brenda joined Rice Fruit Company in 1999, when she became a member of the sales team. Before coming to Rice Fruit Company, Brenda served as the executive director of the PA Apple Marketing Program for six years, and worked in the Bureau of Market Development with the PA Department of Agriculture for three. Brenda manages sales accounts for the company.

Keith Thomas
Director, Sales and Logistics

Keith has been with Rice Fruit Company since 1985, having worked in sales during his entire career. Keith also manages transportation for deliveries to customers across the East Coast.
